What’s your favorite “go to food” when having a get-together? I have several different things that I love to make and it depends on what group of people that I am getting together with.
One of my biggies, is Simple Cavitini. It’s simply rigatoni noodles, sauce, hamburger meat, pepperoni and LOTS of any kind of cheese.
I mix the noodles, sauce, meat, some of the pepperoni’s, and some of the cheese together, really well. Then I smooth it out in a deep baking dish. Layer the top with pepperoni’s and cover with cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and then I bake it @ 400 for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
That’s why it’s called simple. No measuring. Add only to your liking. You can add peppers, onion. Some even add scrambled sausage.
Other “go to foods” for me are: pork loins, homemade chili, cheesy potato soup, and baked chicken breast.
If you have an easy “go to food” recipe or idea, that you would like to share, please share it on our page. We would love to hear from you!
